FAQ

1. GENERAL
Which license do I need?

If you’re working on a personal or non-commercial project, Individual usually covers you. Client work, branded content, or anything monetized needs Commercial. Broadcast or large paid ad campaigns need Premium. See the full breakdown on the License Terms page.

Is the music royalty-free?

Yes. You pay once for a license and can use the track under its terms, with no recurring fees or additional royalties to pay.

Royalty-free does not mean copyright-free. The composer keeps the copyright, and our tracks are registered with a Performing Rights Organization (PRO) and with YouTube Content ID through Identifyy. This does not create any extra cost for you.

If your production is broadcast on TV, radio or in cinemas, please list the track on the cue sheet. Performance royalties are paid by the broadcaster under its own license, not by you.

Can I edit or cut the tracks?

Yes. You can cut, shorten or rearrange the track to better fit the needs and duration of your project.

However, the music itself cannot be otherwise modified. This means you cannot:

  • Add or remove instruments or musical elements.
  • Change the pitch or key.
  • Change the tempo or speed.
  • Add effects or alter the original sound.
  • Make any other modifications to the musical composition or production.

The track must otherwise remain in its original form.

Is the music generated using AI?

No. All music is composed, produced and recorded by human musicians. Our tracks are not generated using artificial intelligence or AI music generators.

This ensures that every track in the library is created through a genuine human creative and musical process.

What do I receive after purchasing a license?

After completing your purchase, you will receive the track files in both WAV and MP3 formats.

  • WAV: 44.1 kHz / 24-bit
  • MP3: High-quality MP3 files
  • Multiple cuts: All available versions of the track are included, with different durations to fit the needs of your project.

You will receive all available cuts of the same track at no additional cost, so you can choose the version that best fits your project.

Can I preview a track before buying?

Yes — every track has a play button and, where available, clickable duration pills next to the title so you can preview each cut before deciding.

Can I download the preview?

Previews are for evaluation only, not for use in a final project — but yes, you can download the preview file for reference using the download icon on each track.

2. LICENSES
Why is the music registered with a PRO?

Our music may be registered with a Performing Rights Organization so that composers and rights holders can receive royalties when their music is publicly performed, broadcast, or otherwise generates performance royalties.

This allows creators to retain ownership of their work while making their music available for licensed use.

Will I receive a copyright claim on YouTube?

Some tracks may be registered with YouTube Content ID through Identifyy. As a result, YouTube may automatically identify the music in your video and generate a copyright claim.

A Content ID claim does not necessarily mean that you cannot use the music. If you have a valid license covering your use, the claim can be addressed according to the terms of your license.

Can I monetize my YouTube videos?

Yes. All our licenses allow you to monetize videos on YouTube.

Our music may be registered with YouTube Content ID through Identifyy. This means YouTube may automatically detect the music in your video and place a copyright claim on it.

If this happens, you can clear the claim using your valid license, and you can continue to monetize your video and keep the advertising revenue generated by your content.

Does Content ID mean I can’t use the music?

No. Content ID is an automated identification system and does not prevent you from using the music when you have a valid license.

If your license covers your intended use, you can provide your license information to resolve the claim.

Do I own the music after purchasing a license?

No. The copyright remains with the original composer and rights holder. Purchasing a license gives you permission to use the music according to the terms of the selected license.

Our tracks may also be registered with a Performing Rights Organization (PRO), allowing the rights holders to collect applicable performance royalties generated by the music.

What if I receive a YouTube Content ID claim?

Our tracks are registered with Content ID, so a claim may appear automatically when you upload your video. This is normal: it is not a copyright strike and it does not affect your channel. With a valid license you can clear it in two ways:

  • Dispute it on YouTube: in YouTube Studio, open the claim, select “Dispute” and choose “License”. Paste the order number and license details from your purchase receipt email.
  • Contact us: send your video link and order number to rgmamusic@gmail.com and we will release the claim for you.
What do I get when I purchase a track?

You get the audio file(s) attached to that track — if the artist has uploaded multiple cuts (Full, 30s, 60s, etc.), all of them are included in any license tier.

What if I need something these tiers don’t cover?

Open the License panel on any track and choose “Exclusive” — it opens a pre-filled email so we can work out custom terms directly.

3. PAYMENT
Do you offer refunds?

No. All purchases are final and non-refundable once the license has been purchased and delivered.

Because our licenses provide immediate access to digital music files, we do not offer refunds after purchase. Please make sure you select the appropriate license for your project before completing your purchase.

4. SUBSCRIPTIONS
Do you offer subscriptions?

Not right now — every license is a one-time purchase per track. Get in touch if you’d be interested in a subscription plan.
